CJ was on hold for the winter due to time, money, and a cold garage

Yesterday for the first time this season I started it up and moved it out of the garage - took a few tries to get it going, but it idles nice and drives great

Still need to fix the radiator... that will be first project come money

haha this has turned into some horrible race to see which of us can get their CJ working first... :lol:

I thought the simpler vehicles were supposed to be easier to get running well :dizzy:

New radiator was delivered today. Going to throw that in this weekend and hopefully solve my overheating issues

Installed the new radiator today and wow ! world of difference !

With old rad, after a half hour the temp would be red-lining and I'd have to shut the CJ off...

After an hour of idling with the new rad, the dash gauge read 180*, radiator cap temp gauge read 190*.

Seems the old radiator was source of overheating frustrations

I ordered new locking hubs this morning, so hopefully the CJ will have power to the front wheels come this weekend

I put new locking hubs on the front over the weekend... but things are still not good...
when locked in 4x4 it seems there's a little improvement, but it doesn't seem to be fully engaged... thinking there's something wrong with the axle... =/

old crappy warn hubs...

new rugged ridge hubs...
