Howdy... curious as to what the concensus is on which jeep is most consistently and inexpensively repairable... I currently own a KK and a Ram 2500, but I'm looking to add an emergency vehicle for which generic parts will be readily available and are inexpensive enough to maintain a stock of; and for which most repairs do not require specialized tools and electronics... I live about 5 miles from the nearest paved road, but unless we see a dramatic change in scenery ![]() What do you guys think? Thanks! |

The Cherokees are real nice rigs and you can find them cheap and they are easy to get parts for, or a Wrangler but they are usually more expensive than the XJs, around here at least. |

its definitely not a bad set-up I was averaging around 18mpg combined city/ highway, but mostly city. I really miss my XJ, but Im now about to buy a FSJ. And they last forever, I had 225,000 miles on my XJ and it still ran strong with just a couple problems. |
