It is at a jeep dealer so have them print a build sheet and take a pic for us to drool over...

It probably either has 3.21s or 3.73s. I'm assuming it's an auto. Most guys are going to 4.88s or 5.13s with the 35s and an auto. Based on how bad you said it peformed I wouldn't be surprised if it's got 3.21s.

Considering it has a stock spare I'm thinking who ever lifted it might not have done the best job. What's the point of even putting the stock spare on there, you'd never be able to run it. It might be worth crawling underneath and taking a look. My guess is that it's a spacer lift with the stock track bars. If so look at the front and rear axles very carefully and make sure they are centered.

When you said it rode like crap did it feel flighty? If so there's probably not enough castor. I'm guessing who ever did this "half assed it".

How much are they asking for it? If it's just a spacer lift with the stock track bars and stock control arms I would't pay a penny more than I would for a stock one and maybe even less.

I told them the lift and everything else meant nothing to me as I didn't like the ride of the lift so would be changing it, wheels ...way to much bling so they would go as well. They wanted 26700 at first, I just laughed at them! They have came down a lot :!: but I keep telling them throw some 5.13s and ARB front and rear and we'll talk

If it is an auto and is an 07, I bet it already has 4:10. Mine did from the factory without the tow package.

WOW! That's a bit overpriced... I don't even have that much into mine as it sits now.

**Edit** Tom, are you looking for an unlimited or does it matter?

I am actually pricing out a 2 wheel drive 4 door now

and then also pricing out
Dynatrac ProRock60s with ARBs and 5.13s
Atlas 4speed
not sure what long arm kit I want yet but want to run 37s or 40s if I want
then one long weekend and have what I want from the get go!
Should be able to pick up a base model 2 wheel drive fairly cheap from what a couple of dealers have told me.

You won't need a long arm for 37's. I can squeeze those on my OME lift with high clearance flares. For 40's you'll need a 6" LA or 4" lift with high clearance flares.

Last year before I picked mine up there was a 07 2WD Unlimited brand new with the lifetime warranty for $12K. They are a great deal if you are going for a serious trail rig...

Yes I want ( or need) an unlimited one. My parents are up late 70s/early 80s and I take them places all the time so need the 4 doors. Yes I have steps built for them to get in and out
