Here's an update on the Jeep... it's been on a lot o trails so far, scraped some skids up, and never been stuck yet. (never needed the lockers, actually) 
More things got painted pink 
She got a safari top and deck cover for her b-day... I must admit it's pretty cool. 
Like I said... plenty of trails. (Halfmoon Road- July '09) No mechanical issues of any sort so far... just one oil change. |

Scored a set of 35's on Craigslist.... just in time for Moab!   More goodies on the way as well... plenty of work to be done by LJS!

Check it... Rubicon Express Super Flex... Pinkie Edition  Shown: -SuperFlex arms -Adjustable front track bar -Pro Comp 4" Front springs -Pro Comp 2.5" Rear Springs -Pro Comp Shocks There are also new swaybar links, bumpstops, new stabilizer, track bar brackets and braces, axle C gussets, and brake line extensions.... I've got some work to do before LJS

Well...it's official... Pinkie got lifted today!  I've been in the driveway for 11 straight hours (minus a 30 minute run for Wendy's and some grade 8 bolts)... that was a lot of work!! I'll post up pics tomorrow

Well it took me long enough but here are the lift pics... She's off partying in Vegas... and I'm ripping her Jeep apart...  Old and new track bars...  Front adjustable upper control arms...  Lower control arms...  Getting the front lifted...  Lifted front end...  Here's the big problem with automatic 4dr JK's... at full droop the front driveshaft hits this skid... a couple minutes with an angle grinder made a nice notch in the skid and there is no more contact.  That's all the pics I have of the process... it got complicated (and dark) and I was in a hurry Before:  After:

Here ya go... some "after" shots... Pinkie in summer attire...  Bikini top, cargo cover, and netting for the back... full size spare coming in about 1 hour   Front  Front  Rear  Driveway's getting full... I'm tired of jockeying Jeeps whenever I want to work on one
