We had a memorial day parade and the local jeep guys always make a showing. This was my first year doing it.

About 40 Jeeps showed up and here we were getting lined up before the parade...

The parade...

One of the guys kept driving up and down the line of jeeps and doing some "wheel crawling" which really got the crowd going.

A friend of mine snapped a couple pictures of my rig.

Thanks Inc! It's a work in progress. I just put a stubby front bumper on tonight. I'll try to get some newer pictures once I get the rear bumper and tire carrier on.

If you put the stubby Shrockworks one on there I'm going to get really jealous. I love that bumper on KJs. Stubby JK bumpers are the only way to go.

I didn't go with the Shrockworks, although it's an awesome bumper. I went with the Rugged Ridge XHD. It's modular so you can turn it into a mid length, add a stinger, pre-runner, or bull bar hoop. I wasn't sure I was going to like the stubby so I figured if I didn't I could just buy the ends to turn it into a mid-length if I decided I didn't like it. But now that it's on there I love it, so it's staying a stubby.

I do have the "bull bar" hoop on order, but it still looks great without it.

That is a cool bumper as well and the bull bar is a nice addition for sure. Are you going to run the optional shackles on it as well?

The shackles came with it. I think the optional ones are stainless. The ones that came with the bumper are powder coated black.

The best part about this bumper was the price. At $306 it was a bargain.
