check this out http://www.rubicrawler.com Bolt in multiple low range gearing for TJs/JKs with automatics 4 gears in the transmission, 2 speeds in the transfer case, 2 speeds in the reduction gear = 16 forward gears! 108 to 1 crawl ratio and fits inside the trans so no new driveshafts |

Dang Tom we've been talking about that since it was announced at the Easter Jeep Safari in '08. It will fit KJ's with the 231 and 42RLE too! |

Just imagine my KJ with 3:1 1st gear,the RubiCrawler at 2.72,a 4 speed Atlas with the 10.34:1 low,and my 5.13: gears....................... Equals.............................. 432.8:1 crawl ratio ![]() ![]() |

IIRC The 42RLE and 45RFE have different length tail housings, different main transmission output shaft sizes, and a different bolt pattern. |
