I have it on my XJ due to the linkage getting worn out and popping out of gear when flexing, etc. It works great now. Kind of a pain to fit the factory console cleanly for me but it works well and no popping out of gear. |

How was install? Quick and easy! Did you use their shift knob? And did you buy it from them or someone else? |

Install was Ok, I had a little trouble adjusting the shift lever so it would work on the console but w/ the boot I used, i ended up having to cut the console up a little anyway so it worked smoothly. No biggie though I suppose. I bought it directly from Novak and did buy their shift knob. I left the shaft fairly long too so it sticks far out from the console. Looks cool, old school style. Works well and no problems w/ it popping out of gear now at all. Is a little weird to get used to since it isn't as obvious what gear you are in w/out the indicator But I am usually only in 4lo in my XJ while wheeling anyway as it does fine in 2wd the rest of the time when going faster. |

not that I am aware of since it is directly linked w/ the factory x-fer case handle. the shifting is simple enough to understand w/ it written on the knob so it is good enough. |
