before applying liner, did you keep the bolts screwed in (seats etc..)?

if not did you just use tape?

Got the seats and stuff out. Surface was nastier than I thought. Vaccumed it all up, washed it with purple stuff, rinsed it, and then dried it. Next I will sand (rough up) the surface area. I will get to that probably tomorrow. Its kind of humid here in Florida.

i sanded down the tub using 180 grit paper.. it does not look really faded like some other jobs i have seen. is the purpose of the sanding just to rough it up a little? i just do not want this liner to come off easily. will the acetone do the trick after sanding down the tub. :?: :?:

I think just to make it stick better we were trying to get all the old liner off. It is holding up good jumping in and out all weekend on the trails. Didn't need the acetone we used a side grinder with a sanding wheel worked great and fast!

The acetone just helps get the dust and other particulates off, and leaves no residue. It dries in like 30 sec and can be applied right before liner application. One quick wipe down and your good to go !
