You posted before I did

The current incentives should be ending any day now and Jeep should update their website to reflect the 2010 models any day now

Thx Guys... My 03 Renny maybe a thing of the past :O
I'm kinda sold on the Denator Yellow 4 Dr Wrangler..
Theres 3 Editions right.. Unlimited - Sahara & Rubicon... I know Rubi is the expensive offroad version but is there any major differences between the Sahara & Unlimited besides price?

OK, there are 2 types of Wranglers with 3 trim levels each.

You have a regular Wrangler with 2 doors, and a Wrangler Unlimited with 4. The 2 door seats 4 (uncomfortably), and the 4 door seats 5.

Trim levels are X (base, and S package), Sahara, and Rubicon.

The X base package is bare bones, the S package is 'well equipped'. Cloth seats, AC, full length floor console, drivers side height adjustable seat, etc. The X comes with a NexGen Dana 30 in front and a NexGen Dana 44 in the rear. It has a 241J T-case with 2.72:1 low range.

The Sahara is the 'Luxury Model'. it adds power windows and locks, color coded fender flares, and other un-needed stuff. Same hard parts under it as the X.

The Rubicon is the same as the X on options, but adds a NexGen Dana 44 in the front. Electronic Lockers, and better shafts in both axles. And a 241OR T-case with a 4:1 low range.

** EDIT **

In 2010 they are dropping the 'X' trim level and replaceing it with the 'Sport' trim level.

Additionally The Canadian names may be different for the trim levels, but you should get the basic idea from the above.

Ok perfect... Sales guy wouldn't give me too much info on the 2010 release dates & such. Was more interested in trying to get me to buy an 09.

Why not get the 09 if it still brand new? Should be able to talk the dealer down some on price since the 10's are out. They should want to unload last years models. It's just collecting dust on their lot.

It has a soft top. Id prefer hard top or umm I think its called "3 piece top". Plus its not the color I want. Picky yes but if I am going to shell out on a brandy new vehicle I prefer to get what I want.

Find a 09 unlimited rubicon, talk them down and you can't ask for anything more, they have 32" bfg mt's, front and rear lockers, and auto swaybar dissconect all out the box.

The Yellow, Jeep Green, and the Sunburst Orange are gone for 2010. New colours are Surf Blue, Natural Green Pearl, and Charcoal.

I know because I just ordered a 2010 Rubi, 2 door, in the new green. We had only looked at the colour from the swatch in the Fleet booklet the dealer had, which was only about 1 inch square. :? I hope I like it when it comes in, oh well. :o

Well I've heard rumors the 2010 Wrangler Unlimited's are going to have more leg room over the previous years....if that's true it would be a selling point / worth waiting for over buying a new 09. Jeep also had an electric wrangler at the 09 Autoshow....however I very highly doubt it'll ever make production, or if it does it'll be several years away.

Only real change for 2010 is the redesigned soft top.

One of the guys who builds them everyday says 2011 is the year for more leg room, different styled dash, something about the seats being different, and more refinements, at least thats what he was telling me the other night.
Is he right ...who knows, but he should know if anyone does!

As of a few days ago, Surf Blue has been discontinued. Guess it wasn't that popular.

No, Sunburst Orange was discontinued at the end of the 2009 season.
