I was under the impression that it was a revamp of the diesels in the Euro market due to the Fiat merge... Once again excluding us...

Gotta love how we get screwed out of the cool stuff from American brands, while other countries get exclusive models and options from their automakers. A diesel wrangler unlimited may pull me from my libby...

Right now you can get obscene deals on the 2009 JK Wranglers left on the dealer lots. Rubi's are harder to find, even the 2010 models.
I've heard it explained before that they can produce more Wranglers than Rubi's. So if you really want one you could probably special order one but not with the diesel.
I was in Europe this year and saw the diesel JK's. Too bad I couldn't of had one shipped back home with me.

A couple articles Ive read talked of a CRD Wrangler with start stop technology here in the fourth quarter of 2010.

there is an s package for the sport. it has power locks and windows. a few other little things. about 1.5k more than a sport

I was just reading my local paper today and read that a Diesel Wrangler will be released at the end of 2010 :BANANA: . I have been drooling over the thought of a diesel wrangler unlimited for a long time (hell if GM woke up and made an H2 diesel they probably would not have had to kill off Hummer :dead: , I would have been driving one today !) I know I will probably be trading in my CRD liberty for the Wrangler ! .
