managed to win an AEV Heat Reduction Hood on eBay for $300 LESS THAN RETAIL!

Only difficult part - I had to pick it up in Southeastern PA in a suburb of Philadelphia. 839 miles one way. Monday thru Friday, 9-5 only.

What the hell, I like road trips. Loaded up the gas sipping Patriot and left at 9:30 PM on Thursday, drove all night and got there around noon Friday. Kept driving after I picked it up and somewhere about 130 miles from Ohio (1000+ miles driven), I decided to cash in some rewards points and find a hotel. Had to be the best hotel sleep I've ever had!

Stopped at 4WD Hardware in Ohio in the morning. Have to say I was very unimpressed. Couldn't find anything in stock that I needed.

I mounted it up and drove around for a week with it unpainted.

Found an affordable painter and he did a great job of color matching!

That hood looks very good on your Jeep.

How do you like the 3.5" AEV lift?

I was thinking on running that myself with 35s and a 4.88 gear ration, is that what you are on pixledzn

Yes. My only other suggestion would be to look at the Poly Performace Synergy kits, but I am very happy with my AEV suspension. I am most definitely an AEV fanboy.
