| Post subject: | Rubicon Locker(s) |
A girl at work bought a new Rubicon and while checking it out, I noticed there is one switch/button for the locker(s). I assume it has air locker(s)? - but am not sure are both diff's are equipped with air locker's? If so, when you hit the switch, do both engage at the same time? I thought it was odd if that is how it works? |

They are electric lockers. The switch is a three position switch. Push up to lock the front, down to lock the rear, again to unlock. |

Ahhh... I thought maybe I was confused. I recently looked into Eaton E-Locker's for my KJ, but couldn't find any. So I've assumed they don't make them for the 8,.25 or D30a. FWIW, from what I read, those E-Locker's sounded good to me. Oh well.... Thanks for the heads-up on the Rubicon's. |

The Rubi Lockers (TJ and JK) are made by TFS (Tochigi Fuji Sangyo). The Eaton E-Locker, I would stay away from, numerous issues with them. After a few thousand miles they won't function any longer. |

the TJ Rubicon lockers work weird too, if you mix up the air hoses, it will still work, but the dashboard cluster will say Locker (meaning problem) and it was a 1 way toggle switch...click for rear, 2 click for front and rear and third click off |
