What lift did you use, and how high is it....?
What brand of wheels are those.....?

Congrats on the new JK, I'd like to make the KJ / JK switch myself but the finances are just not there right now. Maybe next year.....
I like the Islander package myself, but wouldn't turn down a Rubicon if the deal was right......

The lift is a Rough Country 3.25" Performance lift. Its a great value at $379 with shocks, springs, extended end links, and all the needed relocation brackets (brakes, track bar, etc). You really don't need to spend much to run 35" tires.

Wheels are American Racing "ATX Offroad Series" Teflon Coated Mohave 16"X8" with 4.5" backspacing. Yeah, its a mouth full. They are online a few places. http://www.desertrat.com/products/?id=5010 Discount tire actually carries them and they are about $140/wheel.

The tires are 35" BFG KM2s.

Here are all my threads regarding the build:

http://www.jkowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28339

http://www.jkowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28551

Since then I've also added some needed skids - control arms, oil pan, evap canister. Got some woodland camo Wet Okole seat covers and put those in today (they look sweet with the natural green pearlcoat!). Also had 5.13 gearing installed last week. A few odds and ends yet to come (winch, bulk up the front D44)...but that's about it.

Thanks! If you're going to buy a Wrangler I think green is the way to go! We finally got to do a little off roading today...

Yep, it is definitely in its element out there. Oddly enough, I was more comfortable on 3 tires in the KJ than I am on 4 in this one. I just don't know the limits yet. Its going to take some getting used to before I can take full advantage of this Rubicon.

Switching from an IFS vehicle to solid axle, with a disconnected swaybar is a big adjustment. It took me quite a few wheeling trips to get comfortable once I switched. Then I lifted it and had a lot more travel and had to get used to it again. Then I traded for a JKU, and the process begin again! It never ends. Just adds to the fun!

You can't see em because they are behind little cages in the bumper. But yes, I could probably stand to mount up a few more.

Ahhhhhhhhhh :P

The more lights the better :pepper:

More Lights are always the answer!!
