Amateur YJ Lift

A buddy of mine is going to be getting a YJ. He wants to do a 2.5" lift, is there a mod like the clevis lift on the KJ that can be done to the YJ to achieve a little boost?

closest budget boost is longer shackles.

Longer shackles, would that be in addition to say say a rough country kit or skyjacker lift w/ leafsprings/shocks?

Depends on the kit, some come with shackles some without. If you get a kit without, you could always add longer ones for more lift.
