Hey guys, I was wondering if there are sites that you use, that are comprehensive on things like tech, armor, lifts, etc, with appropriate navigation divisions, siimilar to how well this site is segmented for KJ's, but I need it for wranglers. My brother in law asked me to help him find a Wrangler and I am not sure where to start researching. No offense to anyone here, but it seems like just a big lump of posts...

Thanks for any leads.

To start with I'ld start browsing JeepForum (not as well set up as this site when it comes to specific models, but still a lot of info) or the Rubicon Owners Forum.

Or even better yet... ask here!

What is he looking for, price, years, and what does he want to do with it? We can give suggestions to narrow down your hunting.

If he's in our area.. Go to Greatlakes4x4.com
There are about 25 new vehicles for sale everyday..

Thanks for the tips. I need to find places to buy, but I also want to find tech info, like how we have info sections on armor choices, lift choices, what to look for when you buy, etc. I'm hoping to help him with lift and tires asap.

He's buying it strictly as a toy and to have a top-down fun vehicle (has company cars), as well as for winter fun. He was thinking in the 10-15 k range, but questioned about new prices. I don't think money is too much of an object, his bonuses are about the same size as my yearly take home pay...

For that price range you can pick up an early TJ.

Wiki has a good basic breakdown of the Wrangler generations and their differences.
