Buddy of mine in a 97 TJ needs new tires and wants to put on 32"s which will fit but wants to run 33''s due to tire selection. He says he has a 2 1/4'' budget boost. I thought he meant 2.5" but hes sure it is a 2.25". If his springs are sagging a little bit due to winch and wear, will he be able to fit 33"s or no? Is there anything he can do to tweak wise to his suspension to give him a little more room? He has the quick disconnects in the front.

33's will most likey rub if he doesn't bump stop properly. Find a set of Rubicon take off springs and toss them in there to see if it helps w/ sagging, if they are low mileage springs, it can give an inch or so. It is basically what we have on my sons 99 TJ w/ 2.5" spacers and 33's fit fine but we also have no rear flares to rub against and bumpstopped to elminate too much upward travel in front.
