![]() I saw this 05 Wrangler the other day and I am wondering how difficult and expensive it would be to replace the soft top with a hard top? SORT OF considering selling the KJ, and my GTI and getting a Wrangler. Sort of. Thoughts? |

There is no difficulty in the swap; it will bolt right on. The expense and ability to find a LJ (unlimited) hardtop will be the issue. Probably looking at a minimum of $1200 for a decent used LJ hardtop. |

Its straight bolt on as long as it has the hardware with it. Atleast for a YJ. Cheapest I've seen an used LJ hardtop for sale was $600. I usually see 'em for $800 and up. |
