Hello All I got a strange noise from transmission 42RLE. Few months ago, I got the code P0740. I didn't do any thing for it, I just erase the code, and disconnect the battery to reset computer. Because the transmission was work well that moment. Then I install a small Derale transmission cooler, and keep driving. Two weeks ago, I hear the noise from the transmission. The noise sounds like chu..chu ..chu. First it only happened at P and N gear. When I shift into D or R, it was disappear. But now it was changed, when I push the gas pedal to increase RPM. The noise was also louder as RPM at P, N, D gear, except R gear. But the transmission still works normally. The local shop said it could be cause by TC or pump, and told me to ignore it. But in my opinion, I feel it could be cause by the solenoid. Because the noise would be changed. Could anybody provide some advices to me? Lots of thank. |
