So finaly I got me a Jeep again. Got kind of bored borrowing the wifes XJ...
2007 JK-U Sahara.
Front & rear steel bumper, skid plates, rocksliders and a winch.
Image
(Yes, it is 17" Rubicon rim... 8) )

This Jeep have been used by a event company, where I sometimes work as a offroad driving instructor. And the Jeep is still employed by that company... 8)
(Last week one girl were driving the Jeep in 25 degrees sideslope, and she was crying... ) :?

During this summer I will get a 2,5" BB lift and a set of 33" Cooper Discoverer STT.
And tomorrow the beated up fenders will be replaced whith black Rubicon fenders...

Awesome JK. I love the black wheels.

Are there good places to wheel in Sweden? My brother and his wife out there last year. I need to get on a plane and visit!

There are a lot of good places for offroading. But overall, it is forbidden to go offroad, but it is possible to get permition.

Work in progress...

60 mm (2"1/3) Plywood spacers over each spring.
Black stock Rubicon fender.
Big roofrack.

Image

Moore work is coming up:
Shock absorber needs to be replaced or relocated.
35" Cooper Discoverer STT.
The plywood will be replaced whith moulded nylon, same type I used for the KJ...
A few lights on the roof.
And so on...

Finaly it earnd its name, due to the roofrack...
How about "The Game Retriever"?

Nothing wrong with a spacer lift on a wrangler. It doesn't cause the suspension to sag out horribly like it does on the libby. But being made out of plywood is questionable.

Nevermind, he made his KJ lift out of a block of nylon and fabbed extended bumpstops using parts from a boat-trailer then ziptied them to the UCA.

Apparently, in Sweden, you can get away with a suspension made of wood ... :ROTFL:

So far, so good... But it will be replaced later, (If I don´t forget it).

Anyway... The Jeep is performing fine, not only for joyride...
