Just a few pictures of our recent 2 month TJ redo......Now Heather will never let me drive it
It all started with a Nth Degree Mobility 6" suspension, then snowballed out of control....
6" Nth Degree long arm, new Currie steering again, new MT/R's, new wheels, new 3/8" Winchline with Safety Thimble, HPD30 front axle with new ARB, resealing the auto tranny (thanks John at All 4WD for the awesome job on both, BTW), then decided to keep the old Weld wheels for the Hammers and other "rock" trails, so those are off to Champion to have them beadlocked, then I need to find 2 more MT/R's for the new wheels.
Still to do: rear disc brakes, hydroboost, and finish my engine/tranny skid. Also waiting for my new Viking Fastback soft top so I don't have to run my hardtop at the Hammers.
All in all, not a cheap redo, but the results are AWESOME! The Jeep drives and wheels awesome now. It hasn't driven this nice since it was new! The ride and drive with the Nth LA is incredible, and the ground clearance gains are impressive. The HPD30 was the icing on the cake for the front end clearance.
I just wish I had the snow pictures of the TJ from last weekend! Heather was breaking snow drifts of 3 feet tall!!! Trail pictures coming soon, just as soon as we get out the shop.
