so I'm having shifting problems with my T-case in my TJ, if it isn't popping out of 4 low its a pain to get back in 2 wheel drive or so forth. My Jeep has a 1 inch body lift, so I'm sure that adds to the issues. With all that being said, anybody installed either of these kits and what do you think? Pro's? Cons?

I just bought the SK2XC, however have not installed yet. The body lift moves your stock linkage connection to the transfer case up an inch also which causes the hard shifting. If you don't replace the stock linkage with the Novak set up you will have to do some adjusting to get it to work right.

Sounds like "decision made". I believe the only one that will work for conversion of a stock unit(keeping the stock transfer case shifter handle) is the SK2XC. Bought mine direct from Novak, about 185 with shipping. Really fast service, I had it in 2 days.

so you installed the cable version? Did you have to adjust it a lot to get the shifting just right? Did you install it on a KJ?

I have an 2006 LJ Rubicon with a Rokman 1/2" body lift that the Novak shifter is going on. I have not installed it yet as I am waiting for the Rokman transfer case skid to arrive and I will do all of it at once. I would imagine that you would need to do some adjusting, but once done you should be good to go. On the ROF the Rokman is highly praised for getting rid if your issue.

I got this installed a couples ago and I must say, it shifts great! pretty easy install and adjustment. It stays in each mode that I put it in. Nice to have a fully working 4 wheel drive system again..
