IFS might be the way of the future. According to Jeep, the 2016 Wrangler might go to IFS.

I'd buy an IFS wrangler with the 3.0 VM

I would too.......... Jeep has said that they are planning on the 3.0 VM to be placed in the Wrangler for model year 2016.

Well at least it will ride better, since the TJ they have all had a terrible ride.A old M900 series military 5ton rides better then a TJ or JK(stock or modified).

My TJ stock and now lifted rides like a caddy, compared to my old YJ..

I drive a lot of them at work, some stock, some lightly modded, and some highly modded and they all ride the same, like crap.

No different than when they came out with the square headlights on the YJ and then did away with the 4.0 six cylinder, when they went to coil springs and the list continues. When the XJ came out I remember the old guys I hung out with complaining about Jeep making a "car" and it would never last, it would fold into the first time you had to twist it up some. Look at it now people think it the best thing since sliced bread.
Everytime there is a change in models people talk crap for a year and then you see them driving down the road in one and proclaiming how great it is and there is nothing better in the world. Its funny really to think back at all I have heard with different models over the years since I started playing with them in the early 70s.

I'm ready for a JKU, just not the price tag.
Wonder if it would drive similar or better than the KK.

Depending on what you're looking for, the JKU is actually very affordable.

I would imagine they came down in price since the 3.6L is out now.
When I went to buy a vehicle, I was going for a dark green JKU. The Wrangler was beautiful, but too slow and expensive 2 years ago.

I got my JKU for relatively cheap but it was used. It was 2 years old at the time and got it for just over 20k. My wife just bought a '14 JKU with a fair amount of bells and whistles and it was around 30k. This weekend I am installing some parts for her. Had it about a month and already modding it. :)
As for a IFS wrangler...not for me. I love my solid axles and the ride which to me is way better than my KJ limited ever was, even new but that is just me.
The JK prices here in Vegas are all high IMHO.
