Saturday i got together with Kevin in his Toyota and Mike in his YJ and we decided to run Firebird, Ruler, Scorpion and a few other washes and obstacles i have never run. I have never run Scorpion either. That was a great trail. Everything went great until the end of the day when i sheared 3 of the 5 lugs of the rear driverside axle shaft and my tire fell off at the end of the obstacle. It was literally the last bump of the day. I feel i got lucky it happened there and not on the freeway going home at 70mph. It was hard to get the rotor off after dragging me around on it but with some inginuity, a BFH and a little blood we got it off and changed to my spare axle shaft. On the main dirt road on the way back i also dropped my rear drive shaft. The bolts holding it to the TC backed off and it feel off. We found 2 out of the 4 and was able to put it back on. All in all a great and really rugged day. My little jeep took a good beating that day. I'm just glad i had spare parts and didn't have to leave her in the desert for the cannibals. Here are a few pics and shorts vids. Cya

Great stuff! I love how you don't even skip a beat when the tire falls off, just look back ahead and keep on going! Sweet! Those are some fun trails....I think I need to go visit my parents again soon...yeah thats it, visit my parents!
