Has anyone ever cleaned the roll bar paddings on their TJs? I just bought a TJ and the paddings stink of cigarette smoke. Please help! Thanks.

Take them off and wash the smallest one in the washer (I.E. the cheapest one to replace) Then dry it in the dryer with a dryer sheet. If they arn't to old they should be fine. Don't dry it on the high heat setting. I did that and couldn't get the pad to go back on. You should be able to wash them if they are in good shape.

try this, mr. max's anti icky poo

i used it on cat urine i found in a closet that was about 5 years old and it worked! it's not the cheapest thing out there at around $20 a bottle, but it's cheaper than new padding.

yeah, its the real deal. i guess it was even featured on CSI--it gets the dead body stink out, but i can't personally vouch for that, hubby's been pretty good lately...
