Well, I just added a 4runner to my 4x4 stabel. It seems that this horse may have a bum leg and needs some TLC. I am planning to make this my DD (my daily commut is 160miles round trip). It has 250k on the od but the body is near perfect (except for the rust that they all have on the rear quarters) and the interior is mint except for a crack on the dash. I know that they head gaskets on all the toys have a problem so that is going to be something I am going to replace soon. If anyone knows of any other common problems could you let me know. We had a 89 with the V6 and had constant problems with the knock sensor. It is in the bottom half of the motor and is a pain to get to, so if you can go ahead and swap it out. |

Thanks I will keep an eye out for it. I did find that I have a fuel injector leaking and filling up the cylinder to the point that it was only running on 5 cyl. |
