i was looking to do a body lift on a 1998 f150 4x4.
the cost of the poly body lift is $150 which is a good price, but was
wondering if anyone has done a body lift on a full size truck before.
i got a quote for installing and it was around $500.

if i can do it myself , i would rather.

any issues, like the steering extension, or anything like that ?

body lifts aren't really worth it, unless your ONLY goal is to fit bigger rubber. It doesn't help travel, it doesn't help articulation...if your only goal is to fit bigger rubber, crank the torsion bars or get a leveling kit, which is about the same price.
