No, it's not a Jeep, and no, I can't fit in it...but it's a blast!

And while blowing up diffs is a tad more common than in the KJ, it takes 10 minutes and about $30 in parts to fix

Tom, www.rcuniverse.com is a pretty good forum to get info, depends on what you want. if you want a monster truck, I'd go with an Associated Monster GT, Losi LST2, or the Savage X 4.6 or XL...the kit X SS isn't worth the dough IMO, but you DO get to put it together yourself

Couple recent pics...done a lotta work to do to it. Gotta sort out my new suspension setup so it quits yanking right out of the lower suspension arm

And my most recent ebay score...

sucker's CLEAN! I think it was barely run.

jersey...got any pics of your truck? definitely an expensive hobby...keeps me too broke to build the KJ

JJ...your T-maxx?

I finally found one of those RC KJs on eBay...it should be here soon!

Tom...13.5" on my Savage's wheelbase.

JJ, since mine's not here...can you give me some quick width, WB, and wheelwell opening measurements on that KJ body?

not sure if mines the same or not,Its a Mattel Tyco model
front bumper to rear bumper is 11 1/4 long
width is about 4 5/8
wheel well s at the bottom of the body are is 2 1/2 inches
wheel base is only 7 inches so will need to graft on a flat bed to the rear of the body!!!
so will it fit on anything except for this battery pack???

Tom...I've been scanning ebay for a suitable chassis. I've got something in my brain, but it'll need a wheelbase stretch.

The last one is a 4x2, but has a built in MP3 player....my son has painted the trim, lifted it, and we're in the process of adding LEDs to it. The back is done, now we need to do the front.....

I have posted these before, but it never hurts to share again.

Team Associated RC10 T2 with Mamba Max 7700 Brushless. I am an old-skool electric guy. Easier to keep mine and my 2 boys all running with electric. Plus that is what I have always run. Just can't break the habit and move to nitro.
