My neighbor is working on his dad's 03 Dodge PU with a 3.7L V6. It's got a bad miss, he's done compression check various times with separate gauges-looks decent. He has changed plugs, checked coil packs-they all are good. He pulled each individual injector, all appear to be spraying fine. Any idea what could have happened? I did a little research, sounds like maybe a rocker has slipped off, causes carbon buildup and not allowing valve to close or possibly not opening. He used to be a GM mechanic, but this one has him stumped. Any ideas? |
