All stock for now except the 38" Super Swampers and dump bed. It's been converted to 12V with a one wire 100 amp alternator. The winch and dump bed hydrolics are PTO powered. Only had for a short while so theres lots of cleaning to do. I'll put it on the trail when it gets a little warmer outside and post the pics. These pics are actually from before we bought it, the snow plow set up is gone.

Wow, that is sweet. I'd love to get ahold of an old PW and go through it. I had looked at a couple around here, but hadn't found any good enough deals for me. You going to be doing anything with the engine? There are some pretty neat swap jobs people have been doing if they haven't been going strict resto. |

The original engine will stay because it runs great and even with less than 100 hp its geared so low that it doesnt matter. I dont know a specific number but that old flathead has plenty of torque. The future mods include a new custom flatbed, a few extra lights, and a rear winch. Were gonna try and off road recovery service. |

I'm really torn on a project truck/car right now. I REALLY would like to start working on a big project (money/time limited of course:-p ) A 40's Dodge Power wagon rebuild is at the top of my list. I'd really love to throw a Cummins 4bt in one and get it all shinied up. There are also a couple 50's/60's cars and trucks around here. So many decisions.... |

That is one big beautiful PWagon! That will make a great off-road recovery service vehicle!! I can't think of anything you could use the dump bed for in an off-road recovery roll. If you want to swap it for a tow body or something, you could make a post on http://www.dodgepowerwagon.com/. Is that a toolbox on the front of the dump bed? It's interesting that part lifts with the bed. Or maybe it's a part of the bed and I'm just seeing things. Regardless...GORGEOUS truck!! |
