Question about your intake manifold. Does it sit higher than the stock one? Been thinking of getting one but I don't have anymore room or it will hit the hood. I already had to cut a small 1" square out of the hood support to clear the stock one.

This particular manifold appears to be the same height as stock. If you look at the top picture, you will see the OE manifold supporting the oil dipstick tube. If you look at the bottom picture, you will see the aftermarket manifold also supporting the oil dipstick tube in it's original location. It is very well designed.

That's awesome news. I want to move my boost sensor onto the intake horn for better readings. You can see in the pic where it was "kissing" the hood.

My Edge CTS Monitor can read boost from the OBDII port, but I have considered adding a separate boost sensor to the intake manifold. I'll post up as I add sensors.

I had the transmission bands readjusted today for the first time (115,680 miles). Before the adjustment, the tech said that there was a slight delayed shift between 1st and 2nd gear. I had the dealer install a new pan filter, spin-on filter, and top off with Amsoil ATF. I hope the transmission holds up for another 100,000 miles. Afterwards, I could feel the difference in shifting. I'm glad that I had this done.

To tighten up the steering, I ordered a new steering shaft. The Borgeson Steering shaft is suppose to make a night and day difference. I will update this post once it's installed!

I installed a CTS Insight monitor and backup camera to the truck. Here are a few pictures of the install. I removed some material from the license plate so that the wiring wouldn't come in contact with the metal. I drilled out the rivet on the backside of the plate to run the wire. I decided to ignore the instructions and fish the wire through the frame rail (This alone took me two hours) instead of running it along the outside of the frame rail. I drilled a hole in the empty space on the firewall where the clutch plate would normally go for a manual transmission, then installed a firewall boot. I didn't have a way to test the hot side of the fuse, so I ordered a test light. After a few days of waiting for the test light, I ran all the wires through the dashboard. Once the test light came in, I was able to verify the hot side of the fuse and make sure it was key only power. I'm happy to report that the CTS Insight is installed and the backup camera works. This will make hooking up a trailer much easier.

As of right now, the Insight will read the following from the OBDII:

Barometric Pressure
Battery Voltage
Boost
Calculated Load
Corrected Speed
Engine Coolant Temp
Engine Speed
Fuel Level
Fuel Rail Pressure
Gear with TCL
Intake Air Temp
Manifold Air Pressure
Mileage Coach
MPG Instant
MPG Average
Throttle Position
Time 0-60
Time 1/4 mile
Transmission Temp
Vehicle Speed

The Insight monitor can also read expandable sensors, so I'm planning to add an Exhaust Gas Temperature sensor, Lift Pump Pressure sensor, Fuel Pressure sensor (between the fuel filters and CP3 pump), and Oil Pressure sensor.
