Heres some pictures of my '91 Ford Explorer. I've built a long arm suspension in the front for a High pinion D30, using Wild Horse 3 1/2" coils, and a stock XJ panhard bar & mount. The rear axle is a 31 spline 8.8" w/ an Aussie locker. I'm using the stock leaf springs, but did a SOA to gain around a 5" lift. I've built a rear bumper that has 1 tow point, and I just finished a front bumper w/ 2 tow points and is made from 3/8" plate. Currently, my automatic transmission has finally died so I'm swapping in a Mazda 5spd (M5R1) and redoing the front suspension using Fullsize Ford radius arms. During the summer I will be cutting the rear portion of the roof off and building a full roll cage. This has turned out to be quite the project! Enjoy the pictures!

That Explorer rules! What are you going to do with the rear door when you lost the top? Weld them shut, or leave them usable without the window edging? Take picts when you play with the Sawzall!!!
