Sorry guys, not a KJ but I think its still a pretty cool video of Volkswagen product testing on a virtually stock Toureg.

Check out the huge unibody skid plate! I love the decals, it has that Euro Rally look!

Except for the last 45 seconds or so it just looked like a giant Rabbit/Golf driving around on a dirt road. Even that last bit where it's dropping in and climbing out of a series of holes was....meh....

Now let's see some video of that 2nd buggy (#309) cruisin' through Baja at 80 mph. Look at the friggin front suspension on that thing. It must have 20+ inches of travel!

Cool automatron vid. I'd be even more impressed if it was running auto through all that, but still pretty cool.

Seth, no Baja...Paris/Dakar

i am working with a guy who specializes in custom "jeep" parts to build one that will go left to right front to back from the bumper to the rear of the t-case and from door to door the problem will be heat build up and the bigest hold up is that the KJ is the wifes dd

cool video
does that thing have low range?? i sure looked like he was driving a little fast for my taste
the whole buncing thing would make me just too nervious i like to go as slow as i can to avoid that kinda stuff

dog_party - thanks!

I worked for a guy a couple of years ago who did SCOREand Best in the Desert. That's a WHOOOOLLE nother kind of "off-road"!

I wish they showed Dakar here in the States (beyond the tiny "best of" clips I mean).

No kidding! You worked for the Fabtech F250! That's awesome! I love that truck. It always bugged me that all the SCORE guys drove the F150 style instead of the HD style Ford. I know it's all about advertising, but I always thought the F250 style would look better flying through the desert.

I took my honeymoon in St. Barths, which is a French West Indie island. The TV was all European and I just had to turn on ESPN (my wife was napping ;-)) It was all RAID (Paris/Dakar racing), and European Handball. Check both of those out. You can watch race video on the RAID link. And the Euro Handball was COOL! I want to start an American league. I

Keep us posted on that full-length skid plate Jason. That would RULE!
