What else does everyone else play with outdoors in addition to their Jeeps? I'm considering a Quad for my wife and I. Maybe an Arctic Cat Two Rider Vehicle like these:

I can get a leftover '05 500cc model for the same price as a '06 400cc model. Opinions?

What else does everyone else ride, and how do you trailer/transport it? Pics?

I've got a '98 Polaris Magnum 425 4x4. I use a flatbed trailer which I just towed behind the Jeep two weeks ago to go play in the washes here in Arizona. I'd post pictures but I have no digital camera to do so with. If you're trying to decide which one to buy, the new Sportsmans from Polaris are very nice as well.

I have a Polaris Magnum. I am seriously considering a Polaris Ranger though. With 2 kids the Ranger would be more useful and the rear box is great for hauling stuff. My neighbor has a Gator, its pretty nice but I would definatley get a 4x4.

Those Rangers are very cool. Here in AZ, there's been a lot of people modifying them and making them basically into miniature pickup trucks. I saw one at a drive thru the other day in the middle of Peoria.

This thread is a little old...and it may have taken me a while to find it...but I'll post pictures of what I call my "life"! The KJ is my 1st hobby! :D

I race the WPSA MX series and the ATVA GNC MX series all over the Midwest and we're constantly traveling ALL over during the summer months making races just about every weekend. It takes up all of my money and time but its probably one of the best things in the world and I'm lucky to have supportive parents who can get me to the races. And for anyone who doesn't know...this is my 06' Honda TRX450ER (Electric Start). It underwent a color change mid season this past year so the last two pics are AFTER the change. I ride for a company out of Ohio that designs suspension components so it's their team colors. And there are TOO MANY mods to list...so if you're curious just let me know and I'll do my best to list them.

I rode B class last year...but I'll be racing A class and Pro-Am this year in the WPSA ESPN2 series this year. I broke my collerbone in July so I haven't had too much ride time since I've rebroke it twice  ...so I can't wait until this snow goes away and the tracks open up so I can get some seat time...I'm dying to do some riding!

Artic Cats are nice machines. I have a 05 650 4x4, It will go places that I don't have the balls to take it. You might find a 400 a little underpowered with 2 people, you might rent one before you spend 5000. As for transporting you can buy those little trailers for around 500 if you shop a bit . Just remember when your towing at 70 those little 8 in. tires are goning the eqivlant of about 150 mph +. I live for the fall + spring camping trips with riding quads all day
an beer steaks an campfire at night and if its qual season so much the better. one more
month an its that time
