Finally got my hands on one of the green Jeep Rescue TBs:

I'll be taking it to the AZLOSTKJ December get-together, then either getting it to another cacher there or placing it somewhere in the Tucson area while I'm there.

Jeep co-promotion at www.jeep.geocaching.com. The toy jeep has a secret registration number dog tag. Entries (photo entries?) are entered in the monthly contest; monthly winners are entered in the Win-a-Jeep.

Mines not that big (wait, do I really want to say that :P ). Look at the pic I posted and you'll see that it isn't much bigger than the dog tag that goes with it. Not that I wouldn't want the one bthonas has...

Im not getting this? A bunch of people go out and hide some little Jeeps(cacher or TB?) and then people find them with GPS? Whats the point of that? How do you get the little Jeeps to begin with. I got on that site and a bunch of people in my Town are doing it! What the heck? I would like to know more about this since its going on where I live! :?

Why is it called a cacher? Or TB?

It's a fun "sport". Last weekend, we did a multi-cache (multiple stages to get you to the final). It was about an 8 mile bike ride on a couple of the rails-to-trails bike trails along the allegheny river. It was a bit cold, but we did get to see 3 bald eagles flying up and down the river.
