Just got a GPS although it's not at all a good unit for this (Nuvi 200W) I still wanted to get out and try this. I can see this will be alot fun and may have to get a cheap hand held unit for actually hunting down the cache. I really had to search to find this one since I didn't have anything with pinpoint accuracy.


Of course I had to get pics of the KJ while I was there...

I did my first geocaching today, too. There's a few within 10 miles from my parents' house which is where I am over break so I thought I'd check it out. It was great! I have a Garmin eTrex Legend which is pretty simple, but gets the job done. I'm with you, this is gonna be a fun hobby!

BTW--nice Jeep! I fricken love that color.

Very cool. Geocaching is a great way to get out and explore and find some cool places that you might not have known existed. Now go find a Jeep travel bug!

already found,logged and moved 2 of those. 1 light green and 1 red. 55 finds since beginning of November. Fun stuff!
