A local jeep club of which I recently attended a meeting collects GPS data in cooperation with the USFS in order to document/survey the local trails. I use an Ambicom GPS-CF compact flash GPS card along with my laptop to receive GPS signals. I navigate and record the trails through TOPO! to make maps and track vehicle movement. The local club needs the data in gpx file format but the TOPO program only creates files with a tpo extension. Is there any way to convert the files to the gpx format or extract the data from them so they will be useable by more then TOPO! ? John ];') |
