i've always been fond of midevil battleaxes

i have a good collection of firearms but most of them will be staying in NC on my move to IL atleast for the time being

only actual swords i have are marlow white Marine Corps NCO swords

I sharpened one, it's for cutting Cake :lol:

I doubt I'd even think to grab it, it is however one of the better built NCO sword
if ya want a good multi tool that will double as an axe get a telescoping E-Tool from glock, i don't know how well they have continued to produce it, i've got a Gen 1 version of it and I have beat it to pieces .. or more like.. i've really beat on it, and it's not in pieces , it survived many iraq and afgani deployments as well as other places
it's been ran over by a couple deuce and a halfs
very fine investment

Here are a few that me and my husband has acquired. The first pic is rifles. The second shotguns. L to R: Heckler & Koch .22; (mine) marlin .22; another marlin .22; j.c higgins .22; remington model 550-1 .22; henry leveraction .22; marlin .17 HMR; (mine) marlin 30-30; (his) marlin 30-30; remington 30-06; remington 6MM L to R: mossberg 184-T .410; (mine) mossberg accu-mag 12 gauge; Remington 870 wingmaster 12 gauge magnum; marlin goose gun; sawed off 12 gauge we also have a few pistols: i have a lil' cheap hi point .380. my husband has a .17; 45 black powder; and a 357 we are hoping to get a youth model 870 express 20 gauge and a Remington 1100 20 gauge over the week end!

Yes it uses .45LC & .410 Shotshell. It's a good "Home Protection" pistol. Max effectiveness with the .410 shotshell is 10ft. Accuracy with the .45LC is as good as any other pistol IMO. Accuracy is also based on the person behind the pistol. Overall I believe "The Judge" is very well suited for what it is meant for. Close quarters home protection or self defense. Also in reply to the link saying that .410 2.5" shotshell is hard to find. I personally have not found any problem finding 2.5 or 3" .410 shotshell. Also in reply to the link where it was stated that the .410 shotshell only penetrated two 2 liter bottles in which is equivalent to 4.5" inches of penetration into flesh. it was also stated that it is not enough penetration. Is that guy crazy?! 4.5"inches of penetration is more than enough to make me tuck my tail, Lick my wounds & be on my way if I was shot by that. The shotshell he was using was also a modified 3" shotshell cut down to 2.5" in which I dont recommend doing. To each his own right? This is just my opinion... Great Gun for cheap very accurate. got mine for around 100 bucks, m -38 is also nice ( shorter version) stay away from the m 44 unless u like shotting with the bayonet extended cuz they are sighted for that Most come with a crappy old shellac but you can strip all that and restain it. Ammo is still cheap for now, about 400 bucks for 1600 rounds shipped to you or a 440 tin for about 84 bucks. Very fun gun to plink or you can mount a scope and hunt with it It is a bit long though.

Since I'm in Mass, guns are next to impossible to own. I do have a Luger, in storage with my brother down in Texas. At bedside are a tomahawk and a cutlass. Not too far away is my pride and joy... a beautiful viking sword by Albion: If you've never held one of these, you'd be surprised. Not heavy, not clunky, and capable of delivering a good, solid cut. And not a dsiplay sword... it will survive blade to blade contact, unlike most swords (if you paid less than $300 for your sword, don't plan on using it in battle, as it will break on you at a bad time).

how do you like your 40 Sig AZKJ? 40's one of my top favorite pistol rounds when I picked up my Ruger in the 40 S&W flavor I have it in glock too but it took replacing the plastic guide with a steel guide and a heavier spring before it handled like I wanted and kept the business end down pretty much did the same tuning to my 45's

I never killed camel spiders, if they were buggin me or in somethin I didn't want them in I'd use a can or box or somethin and take it outside and put it in the shade, yeah they were some aggressive mf'ers, but they aren't poisonous. you stood about the same chance of a bite infection as you do with a cat. they'll kill scorpions too which i did absolutely smash but nah i didn't smash the camel spiders. I saw the camel spiders as kinda like a Foreign Grandaddy longlegs (harvester) which aren't a spider, just like the camel spider isn't a spider. They weren't as handleable as a turrantula because they're really spastic, fast, edgy things. You could actually play with them by moving a shadow around kind of like a cat or dog. They'ed run to stay in the shadow but for the other nasties, it has good flight manners too for the saw or sand vipers that just decide they like your room, like a wide spear it got used an unusual amount against with spectacle cobras in afghanistan that place has more snakes than it does people and like 50 species of them are poisonous

An awesome weapon capable of inflicting significant, crippling damage to an opponent. I have a modest collection of a dozen swords (sabers, claymores, Chinese straight swords, hand-and-a-half swords, etc.) and s few axes. I'm very tempted to spring for a really nice piece I recently found, a sword of the type featured in Bram Stoker's Dracula - the long, pointy one. It's quite a piece. Just have to decide if I want to spend that kind of money.

The current sword mfr. for the U.S. Military is pretty much only a dress sword. For Army NCOs it's even worse... ours is just good for sticking, period. None of these will withstand actual blade combat. And as I'm sure you know, a blade failure in those circumstances is catastrophic. I do have a cutlass that works well... imagine your K-bar lenthened by 2 feet, that's the cutlass.

That's a national defense issue! As far as your multi tool goes... how was it with camel spiders?
