Yes looked at it Inc but its really too big for just me, I want one that I can stand up in, enough room for one or two cots and / or a couple of chairs if its pouring down rain. Mostly just be me on long weekend trips so no need for a castle
And also since due to the economy/ cutbacks/ working for state government    I will have 14 extra UNPAID days each year for the next two years to use up may as well go sightseeing and camping

To chime in on this... although I looked at the Kelty tents (like their smaller backpacking tent and have used one for years) I ended up going with one from Sierra Designs... called the Bedouin Six. It has aluminum poles, so it has withstood windstorms and rainstorms pretty well (fiberglass pole systems have broken or dismantled themselves in a storm several times before).
Campmor offers them for sale at a pretty good markdown, and there is also a smaller version with a large vestible/screen room. I have gotten too old to want to roadside camp in a tiny, crawl-in tent anymore. I'm thinking about adding a cot to the pile... my tent allows for cot, small table, etc. inside for a couple... or since I'm usually solo, lots of room for me and gear should it rain.

Having already admitted to trouble crawling around, how does anyone think I'd have the wherewithal to climb up into that thing in the middle of the night after a "coffee out" break!
Nice idea, but I like the trailer-mounted rigs better... espcially if you're doing something like going into lion country.

Plus that was a one off design from what I have been able to find out on various forums, but I wonder what they did with it?

sounds like you need to find a cabin style tent. check out Campmor and anyplace else for cabin style tents. we have a 12 footer that sounds like what you are looking for. Got it at Walmart a few years back. I will post up some photos tonight when I get home.

See I want it all...
quick set/ tear down for one person
enough room for maybe two cots and a chair or two
tall enough to stand up in

I hate to stay in one spot more than a night or two
want enough room so if it is raining out I have a place to kick back

went from very small 2 person , tent trailers. pickup campers , pull trailers, motor homes and now I want simple but still ....
Really want a RTT that you come down the ladder into an enclosed room on a small trailer, have it drawn out just no one to sew up the canvas like I want it!

Oh well back to the drawing board
