Has anyone seen these campers up close and personal? They look very interesting.

I just talked to a realer that said they could go $13.9. They have them listed at $15.9. They have something called an axle riser listed as an option so I asked the dealer about it. Just what I thought........A LIFT KIT!!! Lets, see it has 14" tires now...that might work....a little taller tire....maybe some Soft 8's to match my Jeep!

I haven't seen the camper = I have seen the ad's

Google R-pod - and you'll typically find some dealers on Craigslist with new at ~11-12K - you might have to drive to pick it up - but RV sales are way down and most are willing to deal.

(I think it's a great little camper)

I have seen them for $11,900.00 but not with all those options. Thanks for posting them!

I don't know anything about the rims except that they are 14". The tires are Goodyear 205/75/14" and are 26.1" tall. Anyone care to take a guess what might work? Depends on a lot of stuff I know. The tires set outside of the body with separate fenders made of aluminum.

I may have posted this before on here, but I prefer this style tent trailer myself. This is our hunting trailer and tent and it has been awesome. It is nice inside but you still feel like your are camping. We've had it out in rain, snow, shine, you name it and it has been great. We put both our ATVs on top and off we go. Different style from the one you posted Terry, but still worth alook if you like to bring other toys along as well as the trailer.

Inc: That is great! But, I don't have other toys and don't need a utility trailer. Besides, I need all the comforts of home these days, when I'm "ruffing it"!

That R-Pod is a nice looking trailer. What model are you looking at?

I'm looking at the RP-175. It weighs 2,336lbs unloaded. With the weight that low and the design it should tow pretty well. There will only be my wife and I + one cat. One place I know we are going to is Moab! The wife said she would stay in the camper!

Just don't come in the summer; there's not enough AC to combat the stupid-hot.

We got our loaded with every optional feature for IIRC, just over 5K or just under 6K at a local dealer.

That's a pretty sweet set up. I am curious about how it sleeps 6 though. There seem to be two cots integrated on either side from the photos on the web.

Well, there are 2 beds in it. We have one that sleeps 3 adult males with ease.My father brother and I use it for hunting trips and I am 6'3" 200lbs, my dad is 5'10" 180, and my brother is 6'4" 285 and we all fit with no issues at all. The most we ever did was 3 adults and 2 small children. Our tent has a "twin size bed on one side and a "full" on the other. That was the only option at the time but now you can get 2 "fulls" and the center table is slightly smaller, whereas our table is slightly larger because of the "twin". It is a sweet setup for sure, and is super easy and really versatile. Especially if you want to haul other stuff on top of the trailer.

Hey Fulltimer,
I'm sure you've seen the A Liners, very light, hard roof, and sets up in a few minutes. If there's just two of you, you may want to take a look. We went from backpack tenting, to a Damon Camplite pop up which comfortably slept 7 to a 26' Surveyor w/ all the bells and whistles. Seems like the more comfort you want, the harder (and more expensive) it is to camp.

I have looked at the A Liner. I just don't care for the style.

I ordered one on the 13th. It's the 18' one with a slideout and queen bed.
