The NRA is giving away free trial 1-year memberships, plus discounts on regular memberships - 2 years for $25, 3 for $50, lifetime for $500 (the regular rate for a lifetime membership is $1000!). So if anyone's been on the fence about joining now would be a great time to give it a go. And for those out west the NRA national convention is May 15-17 in Phoenix 8)

Good info! Thanks for posting that link corwyyn! NRA needs as many members as possible right now. Yea, they'll bury you in correspondence second only to Readers Digest, but we need names on the list like never before.

Besides, they have some really cool contests. 8) I'm still waiting for that grand prize of all 21 guns that I selected on that big entry form. :-)
