Hey folks! I'm looking for some information on camping in OBX. We need a place that does have at least electric hookups because of the little one.
Looking for some suggestions on where to go where not to go. We use a popup camper. Also any suggestions on beach access points. I know where the beach access is in Corolla but anywhere else? Also any tips on beach driving is appreciated. We're used to coal dirt and mud!

First, I'm not sure the lawsuit it settled, so no guarantee that you can actually drive on the beach.

Road tires are fine for the beach, the less nobby the better. Make sure you air down appropriately. Stay out of any water. I don't suggest running the beach if a tropical storm or hurricane just went or is going through (that was a pain).

I don't recall electrical hookups at the US Campground. There is a few places right around there with mixed cabin/camper/tent camping. They are relatively cheap.
