Does anyone happen to have the big brother to this rifle?

I want to say that it's aprox. 1930s possible 1920's springfield 22 bolt action, model 56 with a 5 round mag

even with the microfractures in the rifling it still out shoots any .22LR i've ever touched

If someone has the big brother to this springfield I'd be interested to see it if you'd like to share. They sure don't make them like this anymore!

Big brother? Not sure whar you mean but I have a 1947 1903A3 that I am currently restoring. Fun gun, a lot of time into it, have to get it rebarreled and then do some inletting for the stock and than done. Just one of my old WWII era guns that I collect.

my mistake, i forgot to specify what i considered it's big brother

the Mark 1 or the A1 1903's would be what I would put as it's big brother since they fall into the same era but same lineage of rifles as the A3 :)
