Just came across this today and since its kinda outdoor related I thought I'd post it. Cliff notes version. Some sigg water bottles were lined with a coating that contained BPA and if you have one you can trade your old one in for a new one. Interesting. Never heard of Sigg? Mine are all Nalgene. |

I have a couple of Sigg water bottles, and 3 Sigg fuel bottles. They are good bottles, and beat the Nalgenes (I have at least 6 of those) all to bits. The 'unbreakable' Nalgene Lexan bottles will break, I discovered, if you fall off a cliff and land on them. I don't know if I buy into the BPA scare or not... the data seems to be from a questionable study, so I'll just keep trudging along. |
