Ok so I looked at the sam's club web site and the prices are way cheaper than the suggested retail prices. Anyone know if these are good prices or not. I am looking at the Garmin GPS60C $315 http://search.samsclub.com/eclub/search ... gged_in=No |

That is a pretty good price. I checked a couple of other online stores and the lowest I got on a price was $335. Been hearing good things about the MAP60 series so if you think its a good buy I'd say go for it... |

Yeah, I checked some local stores also and it appears to be a great price so I started thinking, How much is the shipping. I checked, $6, Not bad. Even with the shipping It is still looks like a great deal. |

I bought my GPSMAP 60CS for $339.99 (plus $12 shipping) here: http://gpsonsale.com/garmin/index.htm They have the 60C model for $299.99 plus shipping. Also, IMHO I think the color screen makes a big difference and is definately worth considering for the small premium in price. |

I thought that the "X" on the new ones was for the memory card slot, I thought other than that they were the same as the models without the X. I will have to do some research. |

yeah, the X has the memory slot but i'm pretty sure they did away with the serial port (ours has serial and usb--helpful if one goes out) and i've heard they changed the interface so it's not so friendly. |
