There’s a lot of hiking, backpacking, and camping in the Bandelier National Monument. I’ve done two backcountry trips in Bandelier and would highly suggest this backcountry experience.

My favorite New Mexico cactus is the Cholla. As you can see, they are about to bloom
Here's where natural plaster that was removed. The Anasazi, for whatever reason, painted this design and then plastered over it. Years later, archeologist removed the plaster.
10 years ago, this is where I proposed to Sarah. It’s called ceremonial cave.
There were multiple ladders to get to the cliff dwelling
And 10 years later we are standing in the exact same place where we were engaged. This Kiva is somewhere around 1,700 years old.
