I picked up a camper and it weighs around 2850 lbs and I was wondering what type of brake controller do you use? I'm not sure if I really need one, but I thought it would help save my KJ's brakes if I let the trailer do it's part.

I also have the Tekonsha Prodigy. You’ll have a hard time finding a better brake controller. Check your state laws on weight limit, but yeah, I would want a brake controller if pulling that much weight. It will save your brakes and rotors and most importantly, your safety!
