Well, I have finally decided to do the SAS on my 2006 CRD. Starting from scratch and looking for ideas on parts ect.

I do have a new set of D44's from a 2019TL as a starting point. Probably, if possible, going to keep transfercase the same.

Any ideas/help would be appreciated.

Wally

Don't really know anything about diffs that new.

Figure out what ABS/speed sensors you need, and if they are compatible between those years and models.

FWIW, I've been playing with the WJ D44HD and Dodge 9.25" for a potential rear axle swap. The WJ looks good for the upper control arm & mount, but the 9.25" looks better for the VSS, bolt pattern, and re-use of the KJ brakes.

Definitely check into the ABS if you expect to keep that working. (Do you even have ABS? Neither of ours do... '04 and '05)

There is this gadget to manipulate a signal for the speedo:

Hey Darby, I am in Texas now if you want to look at my setup. Not crd so some things won't be able to just interchange. Also if you want an Atlas, I Know a guy selling one that was supposed to go to a customer's project but the customer didn't pay...
