It's got a steering box in it :) I need to finish the Anti-Rock and welding the trac bar and we should be ready to bleed brakes, add fluids, and tow over to the exhaust shop late friday or saturday depending on the exhuast guy's schedule.

JJ, maybe you should come up on Saturday?

I'm looking forward to seeing it......and touching it....and caressi........Hey Now!

Quinns last emails says that Steve is finishing up the final welding on the box/trac-bar mount and then they just need to bleed the brakes but they are short handed and have a shop full of Jeeps aaaaand.... the exhaust shop is full right now so still not sure when it will get in there.

It is always the final little details and such that slow down finishing up a job like this.
I just might have to make a late afternoon run up there to pick it up during the week. The shop is about 2.5 hrs away from me and I wouldn't be able to leave to go up there until about 3PM so I would definately be driving it home late. My plan is to make at least one loop around the whole lake for an on road shake down run before running down the backside of the mountain. Best to do that and find any issues before hitting those steep, twisty roads and driving another 2 hrs after getting off the mtn.

I can't wait but I will and I will try to be as patient as I can.......yeah right patience my stupid!!

So here is the scoop, for all of those on the edge of their seats. They will have a rack cleared on Friday at the shop doing the exhuast. They WILL make sure it's done which should work for JJ picking the Jeep up on Saturday pending the test drive. :0

Well, the JJ mobile fired and everything is set for exhaust tommorrow. It's sitting on it's wheels ready to go ;) I even called JJ and started the KJ with no exhaust just to tease him. The JJSFA is helping to keep moral up in our current situation.

I Really appreciate you guys keeping on the project knowing what you have going on.

I certainly hope Marcie is ok and getting better and I look forward to seeing her back behind the counter ASAP. You guys are all in our thoughts.

Looking forward to picking up the beast on Saturday. :D
