I have yet to get a tire off the ground! That's enough before I blow up the server! Thanks again, Quinn & Steve!

See, that last pic just ruined it for me  There's no way my puckerometer would ever let me get it up that high so the solid-axle thing would just be a waste for me.

Never answered my question Seth......Powder-coated rear bumper or painted?

When I talked to Quinn, I believe he said it was painted.

Yup, paint

Post subject:

Interesting. Why paint? I am getting told that matching paint and matching powder-coat are going to run me about the same price. ~$450 either way.

Dang, let me check with a local guy that powdercoats that I would use, if I ever had to PC anything. That is crazy!!!

Check the color... if it's a special batch, you have to buy 50 lbs of powder to run it... that's a lot more than $450... Paint is always cheaper when you're doing a custom color. We paid $500 for both bumpers and a new set of fender flares to get sprayed.

If you guys can find me cactus green powder coat, let's do it! Powder Coat has it's limitations, not all colors avail. We are having the bumpers on the JK paint matched too. No Red Rock Crystal Powder Coat either.
