Really depends on what you want.
    Just the very basics-
Axles(TJ/XJ axles if doing it like All J's,got to cosider the speedo operation on keeping the 8.25 or not)
Coilovers or coil springs/shocks(agian depending if you are using TJ/XJ axles or full widths)
Reverse steering gear box(any BroncoII,AeroStar, and any E seris vans) and steering set up
    Wheels and tires
Transfer?(depending on how wild you want it)
    New driveshafts
Use exsisting TJ lift parts/custom fabbing own 4/5 link set-ups
Theres more but it really depends on how wild you want to go ans what you can afford. As for the actual process,I'm no fabricator so I'm no use there, give me the prefabbed parts and I'll install it no problem but building it is another story.

This question comes up every now and then and I don't want to discourage you, but if you have to ask this question you probably shouldn't be doing this swap. If you don't understand the parts needed then understanding frontend geometry is out of your league.

I wasn't planning on doing it alone and I have no problem learning whats needed to know. I'll try anything once. I was looking more for a point in the right direction

I guess the 1st real big question is;

Are you COMMITTED to doing a SFA swap on your vehicle?

There are quite a few brawback to doing it - like how the hell are you going to sell it when you want to one day ? You cant reverse it.

I have no intention of selling it....I beat it through the woods on a regular basis, I will drive it into the ground.

Same with me,I'm driving my KJ until the wheels fall off then I'll just superglue them back on and keep on driving :D !I consider each major mod(SFA being a mojor one) like rebuying a new KJ,so when mines done I'll have a "new" KJ(if you can understand what I mean).

and why wouldn't you be able to sell a KJ with a SFA? I don't see it being any harder to sell one that is lifted will full armor that the buyer knows was wheeled....you just need to find someone that is in the market for what you are selling.....like if I was looking and a SFA swapped one was available and was done properly I would buy it

I think the point is...
I won't sell mine for less than $30K at this point...
Any of you interested at that price? And you guys would be the target market.
I didn't think so... so when you do it, you're married to it. You'll never even come close to getting what's it's really worth once you cut it up like that.
